OT - gateway recommendations

Non-technical question: one project wants to start setting up
recurring payments. Anyone have recommendations on an active-merchant-
friendly gateway that's good for that sort of thing? "Good" meaning
reliable, with good reporting and security and not overly expensive?

Braintree is great -- that's why I use them for the recurring billing
Rails Kit. ;) TrustCommerce is also good (if you can get them to
respond to you).
