Is MercadoPago supported in ActiveMerchant?

I'm trying to use ActiveMerchant for an e-commerce app, with the Payments part developed in RoR. Since the app will be used in Argentina I don't have many options for Gateways. My choices for the moment are MercadoPago and PayPal Express.

Concerning MercadoPago, I see that the class ActiveMerchant::Billing::MercadoPagoGateway is in my ActiveMerchant gem (1.77.0).

But I don't see that class stated in the documentation at activemerchant.org

Would be sensible to use the MercadoPagoGateway class?

Spreedly has real transaction volume running across the MercadoPago adapter, so it should work fine. We also list three other gateways as supported in Latam, so you may have additional options: https://www.spreedly.com/gateways#country-ar.
