I get the following error when running the simple-ant example in eclipse (works fine off the command line though)

[java] java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files (x86)\eclipse\build\classes\activejdbc_models.properties (The system cannot find the path specified)

I have absolutely no idea where this file is supposed to be located or what its contents are/should be? For some reason even though all the relevant JARs are in the build path I still get this Exception and the build just fails...any ideas?

PS: This happens AFTER instrumentation has 'started'

Nupul, I created an Eclipse project for you:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/43668168/ActiveJDBC-Eclipse-Example.zip

Instrumentation is configured there as Ant script, but can be invoked by simply clicking a button.
Instrumentation is configured as external tool, you can access it:
Run-> External Tools -> instrument

..or alternatively, you can click that small green arrow button on the menu that is made for external programs.

enjoy

Thanks a ton Igor! Really appreciate it...I'll load it up, try and customize it for the project I (we) plan to use it for. If I get stuck (again :) I'll let you know :)

One suggestion though, I guess you should post eclipse projects for both ant and maven examples since everyone may not be adept at either. It'll decrease the barrier to adoptability - the sheer frustration in setting it up and the time consumed could be a deterrent for adoption. I think having existing Eclipse/NetBeans examples could really go a long way. IDEs have almost become defacto in the Java land...

Nupul, thanks for suggestions, but the project already provides
standalone, Ant and Maven examples. All three are the basis of just
about any project out there.
We also provide a page with instructions for Netbeans:
http://code.google.com/p/activejdbc/wiki/NetbeansIntegration

For the most part, this is more than sufficient. I hope your project
takes off.
BWT, is this a web application or some standalone program requiring DB
access?
