7.2r1 Active4D Init returning a 2, 4D Remote v20.1.100919

Please help me!

 

Active4D Init is not creating a log file when this happens.

 

I’m using a 7.2r1  .key file IP address that does not match my development computer, so I’m expecting it to go into expired mode.

The bottom line is you CANNOT change the config after the database has been opened, because by that time Active4D has already been initialized. Active4D expects the web and config files to be in a stable place. It isn't going to work the way you are doing it.

As for "touching" the C drive, C:\ProgramData is specifically meant to be used by applications for their private storage.
