Dear all,

We developed an active learning tool, that could simply be used through a web user interface. We call the tool Tornado and it is available in Github at https://github.com/slrbl/human-in-the-loop-machine-learning-tool-tornado.
An article describing how it does work and how to use it is also available at https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/tornado-zero-coding-active-learning-ml-tool-walid-daboubi/.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions. An contribution proposal is also welcome.

Best,
-Walid

Lots of papers, specially in the "AutoML" community are calling "active learning" as "human-in-the-loop", without a single reference to active learning papers.
[I will not publicize them here, but I can mention some of them if asked.]

I think umbrella terms like "active learning", "deep learning", "automl", etc. don't help* much for real science, but renaming them is even worse.
Additionally, under such terms, solutions from the past century are rebranded as new.

Regards
