For those of you - I assume all of you - that have Events on their
websites... how do you currently clone new events?

One of the major problem areas are for campus visits. We offer campus
visits most every day of the work week. Originally, Datatel told us to
first set up a single event for the campus visit, then clone the event
for every visit thereafter. They built all our callouts and surveys to
work in that way. Now that we've begun working on upgrading to 2.1.5,
Datatel is telling us that is *not* what we should be doing. That it
is causing us to have numerous problems and freaking out the database.
We have been instructed that we should be creating a single master
event and then creating as many sessions as needed for the repeating
events.

That's great, except that when Datatel built our site, they did not
set up any of the callouts, forms, surveys, etc. to accommodate that
process/functionality.

I haven't had to develop any 'events' related things up to this point,
so I'm lost. How do I fix their mistakes?

I need to create a callout that lists each individual *session*
instead of each *event*, and then I need to make the callout link to
the signup form that is for that *specific* session, as opposed to the
event that now has 300+ sessions and no way of discerning which event
they are signing up for.

Anyone experience a similar problem? Know how to take care of the
problem?
