I just downloaded ICM.

Reading through things quickly, I'm led to assume that the 1.1
"package" comes with binaries? Are there some things I may be able to
run right away, without having to recompile?

I'm guess I'm looking for an "ICM for dummies" guide (or maybe dummies
shouldn't be trying to use this product and get some skills first?).

Ok, I guess, the important thing for one to know is that you need to
find and launch the .bat for a program to run.

And it's not good to try to mix the OpenNI drivers with the Microsoft
Kinect SDK...

Marco,

You do need to use only OpenNI drivers. However, you can get away with
just uninstalling the Sensor driver if you want to play with the MS
SDK. You don't need to uninstall all of OpenNI and NITE.

As far as getting to know ICM, we're always excited to have new users,
and I hope we can help you get those skills. Here are some
suggestions:

-Begin with the PC Quickstart guide.
-You've probably already looked at the quickstart guide since you've
found the batch files. However, Samples/Bin should have batch files to
run various samples.
-If you want to test the Unity integration, Samples/UnitySample has a
pair of scenes that show different functionality.
-Try out the tutorials. There's a set of the ICM API as well as the
Unity integration.
