connect to depth camera failed

when ever I try to run any sample it says connect to depth camera failed or invalid depth camera, I have installed latest version of OpenNI and NITE ,the builtin samples of kinect are running properly with the kinect sdk but I the samples of activate3d aint working. why?

Sana,

What version of OpenNI are you using? If you are using the new OpenNI 2.0, ICM will not be compatible. ICM 1.2 is built to work with OpenNI 1.5.

Thanks for the response, i am using OpenNi 2.0 version, guess i have to reinstall all the OpenNI and Nite stuff, will let you know about the results then :)
