Zero downtime deployment strategies?

Hello again,

I was wondering if someone had some tricks/experiences to share to achieve ZDD with Activate?

Do I have to enable the offline locking? Maybe it's possible to enable it only for the duration of the deployment and disable it when all requests are terminated on the old service?

What's your usual setup / deployment process?

Sorry for taking so long to answer. I didn’t see your emails somehow.

Interesting question, do you normally have only one instance of the application running?

It isn’t possible to enable/disable the offline locking dynamically, there are some optimizations that Activate performs on the byte code during startup if it is enabled.

I normally run the applications using the offline locking.
