Hi all!

The news cycle can get pretty overwhelming. Luckily there are still some great things going on in American politics. Check out this story about how the judicial branch is forcing lawmakers to redraw (i.e., de-gerrymander) congressional districts in Pennsylvania. A huge win for democracy!

1. Call your MoCs to denounce the Nunes memo
Last week, House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes released a misleading memo trying to assert that the Russia investigation is a witch hunt that used improper methods to investigate Trump's election campaign. Both the FBI and the Department of Justice have denounced it, saying that it leaves out materially relevant information that leads to misleading conclusions. Call your MoCs and tell them that the Russia investigation should not be open to partisan political stunts.

2. Join a rapid response rally to protest in the event that Trump obstructs the Russia investigation
If Trump fires Robert Mueller, fires Mueller's boss Rod Rosenstein, or issues pardons to key figures in the Russia investigation, we all will need to show up and protest his power grab.

3. Keep calling your MoCs to pass a clean Dream Act
Congress has STILL not taken any action to protect dreamers from deportation. Keep the pressure on your MoCs, and act locally to be a strong ally for immigrant youth.
