Here's your sometimes-weekly news from the heart of downtown
Actionopolis

ON THE ROAD
----------------------
Actionopolis had a great time at NYCC last weekend. Shannon Denton,
Patrick Coyle and Dan Hipp were among the Actionistas on the floor of
the big winter con.

That's just the start of what looks to be a busy tour season for
Actionopolis authors and illustrators.

WonderCon is under way right now in San Francisco. Adam Beechen,
author of "What I did on my Hypergalactic Interstellar Summer
Vacation" is among the guests at the show.

Can't make it to WonderCon? Not to worry. You can catch Adam in a few
weeks at Wizard World L.A.

Fans in Minnesota are advised to check out Anime Detour where author
Steven Philip Jones] will be showing off his upcoming Actionopolis
book "Henrietta Hex". That show happens March 23rd-25th.

And if you're in Michigan circle March 24th on your calendar. That's
your chance to meet Dan Mishkin ("The Forest King"), Gary Reed
("Spirit of the Samurai") and Rob M. Worley ("Heir to Fire"). They'll
be doing a triple-author-signing at the Borders book store in Oakland
Mall (14 mile road and I-75). If you're a school teacher, the store is
hosting "Educator's Savings Day", so come by and gets some
Actionopolis books at a discount!

ON THE WEB
----------------------
Author Rob M. Worley was a guest on the uber-hip "4 Guys Podcast" last
week. It's a good interview in which Rob talks about introducing
comics and reading to kids who may be reluctant. Give it a listen!

SHOUT OUT!
-------------------
A big happy Birthday to Dan Mishkin. Today is the big day that Dan
turns an age not less than 21! Boo-YAH!

That's all the Action news for this week. Tune in for future
broadcasts!
