Dear Members, Volunteers and Friends of AFRO,

Updates on the use of personal data

Thank you very much for your continuous support to Action for REACH OUT (AFRO)!

The new Part VI A under the Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Ordinance 2012 will take effect on 1 April 2013. In light of the amendments, we have recently updated our arrangement on personal data collection as follows:

To ensure you are well connected and informed of the latest news of AFRO, we will continue to deliver information including work report, donation appeal and other related activities to you through various communication channels by using your personal data provided on a voluntary basis and maintained in the database of AFRO. Such personal data includes contact information (including your name, organisation/school, email address, mailing address, mobile phone number, telephone number and fax number) and donation records.

If you object AFRO to use your personal data for the purposes as stated above, please write to us, with your personal information including name and email address, by email (af...@afro.org.hk), fax (2770 1201) or mail (P.O. Box 98108, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, Kowloon, Hong Kong).

Once again, please accept our grateful thanks for your support! Please feel free to contact us at 2770 1065 for any further enquiries.

Best regards,
