Action complete on Android switches to Google Play

Lately my AC for Android 2.3.5 on HTC desire HD keeps switching to
Google Play, it is really frustrating the life of me as I use it a
lot.
Can anyone help with this please.

Ryan,
It seems to be a Google Play Store issue (happened to me as well). Uninstalling and reinstalling the application resolved the issue for me.
