email body not showing up as note or attachment

Hi --

I like the email integration, but I can't get it to work fully with my
email client. The body of the email is not showing up as either a note
or an attachment. I have a gmail account which I manage through the
Alpine client, which is an updated version of the old Pine client.
What could be causing this problem?

Note that when I do use the normal Gmail web interface (which I
generally try to avoid), everything works fine. I don't expect you to
troubleshoot my strange email client, but I thought you might have
some general ideas of what could cause this problem.

It could be an unsupported content type or a non-standard representation of a multipart message. You might want to switch to plain text format and see if it makes a difference.

For ActionComplete to understand the email body, your mail client should generate either a text/plain content or a multiplart/alternative content with the message as the first body part.
