- i will b dj'ing & facilitating the Flying Turtle Dance this Monday, and facilitating a pre-dance workshop during the "Turtle Cove"With "Turtle Cove", i will offer gentle space-holding & invitations aimed towards assisting Acceptance of what Existence is offering in This Very Moment... Encouragement towards showing up completely for ourselves and each other... simple pre-verbal spontaneous Relation as a path of well-being...An opportunity to Clarify, Arrive & Awaken, and begin gelling a core rhizomatic ensemble Network, before diving deep into the extended musical journey of Flying Turtle: "Showing Up for the Awkward" (8-11:30)
- About the dance itself:
"Sometimes, we try really hard.'
"We want so badly to look good, to leave a monument with our behavior that can stand the tests of time and help ensure that we will be held in high standings by our colleagues, our communities, our collectives, our loved ones, our Selves...'
"Inevitably, however, we find ourselves, at times at least, trudging along with our Ugly Truths collapsing out of us like pockets of gelatinous innards that just can't help but reaching out to the open air, hungry for doses of sunshine and oxygen.'
"This is the potentially fertile space and time which i am calling The Awkward, a place where our unconscious Will expose everything that it needs to... whether our hyper-vigilant 'Please-Let-Me-Look-Good' mechanisms like it or not...'
"This coming Monday, as an incarnation of the Flying Turtle Dance community, we have an opportunity to enthusiastically LIKE It... to dwell in that Growth Space together with gratitude & surprising Surges of Joy, so as to allow Embodied Power & Peace... so as to become more fully Who It Is That We Are Actually Emerging Ourselves To Be.'
