Really appreciate that you guys can join this group !
I' d like to figure it out what the posts are going to be alike, if I
could. But dear members, it does not necessarily go in that way. What
I am going to say is no more than a blueprint. You are free to bring
in your own. This group is all in your hands!!
The primary goal is of the information SHARING and problem solving,
as postulated in the cover page already. So, you are expected to give/
get the information about the exam at the cutting edge level. At least
pulling your heads from the sand can earn you some extra credits by
knowing how is it going in peers' preparation, and thereby your own
position. You can check it out if you stick to your schedule or
not. ....Just be ACTIVE!!! :-)
Secondly, I know some materials like study notes and sauce books (or
the like) help a lot in exam taking. While, others' personal
experience may also provide you another dimension of the REAL exam.
For that reason, you can post your firsthand experience here or just
to be a listener!! I have a lot of ebooks as a bonus for those
rewarding posts.
About the working language, you are free to use Chinese or English, or
shifting between both. It's only a matter of preference. I can help
to translate it into each other in the opposite if time permits.

我本人在欧洲读经济硕士。准备5月考FM。 不知道同学们都什么计划？
一直觉得人大经济论坛和南开的那个bbs 上话题都没有营养。就开设这个讨论组，这样交流起来方便些，人少也好抱团。

P1 and FM are quite easy for self-learner. M and C are more difficult especially for self-study. I am going to take exam FM in May and exam M in this coming Fall. And I will possibly take exam C in the next year. I hope we have a few peers in this group to keep in the same step.

I agree with you 100%!!
We have a situation here. Since I am here in Europe, it' s a little
bit difficult to make the fund transfer and stuff like that ( Banks
always charge a lot) . How can I share the expenditure with you? Any
good idea?
What I can do for now is to borrow and scan the textbooks from the
library. They are Broverman's MATHEMATICS FOR INVESTMENT AND CREDITS
and LOSS MODELS which is for exam C. And I can distribute it to you
by email or just paste it online. Then I should consider the limited
access to our google group due to the copyright problem. I dont want
any trouble regarding this, hehe****
