"connection reset by peer" pretty frequently

Hi there, I'm pulling in data from my own campaigns for nice formatting on our site and running into "connection reset by peer" errors maybe one in every 10 requests. These requests are cached on AWS for 5 minutes so I don't think it's a case where I'm hitting the endpoint too frequently. Any idea what's the issue here?
I'm hoping this means there's a new API in the works? Maybe something I could test out if it's ready.
