For example, if you're staying in a tropical area, you want to stay somewhere close to the beach so you won't be caught in traffic or have to walk much farther than anticipated. You might also want to get close to different tourist attractions so you can easily visit them.

The best kinds of lodging are the ones where you can come back after a long day of activities and rest and relax by a fireplace, in a hot tub, in a pool, or with a beautiful scenic view.
