The Madden football games were created by EA Sports. They are named after John Madden, the famous football player, coach and commentator. They began development in the early '80s when computers were first being born. When Madden agreed to have his name attached to the game, he insisted the teams consist of 11 players, when the designers were originally planning for less. For this reason the game ran very slowly when it first came out in 1988.

There is something most Madden die hard fans are aware of. This is called the Madden curse. Since 1999, a popular sports player has graced the cover of the Madden game, instead of John Madden himself. This has become an honor in the sports world, but some say it's also a curse. It seems that the season after the player is on the cover they suffer a sports injury that keeps them from playing. Avid fans say that this is simply due to the nature of the game and how often the player plays.

Since the Madden game began, it has become increasingly popular on all different video game consoles. Being able to play as your favorite NFL team, you can compete in a series of games. Many people choose to have their own bowl tournaments with the video games as a source of entertainment, and sometimes people choose to bet on these games for fun and to make things more interesting for a party or between friends. Even if you're not betting on a real sport, you can still bet on the outcome of a video game football game.

Sport betting is the process of betting on any type of sporting event. It could be basketball, it could be baseball, and of course, it could be football. There are websites you can find online that help you decide which teams to bet on, depending on what you think you're going to put in money for. There are also websites that use algorithms to determine how much you should bet if you're thinking of betting on a number of different sporting events.

Madden 11 is the latest Madden game. Madden has certainly come a long way since it's inception over 20 years ago. With high definition televisions, amazing graphics, and a picture the size of the room, it looks like the game is being played right in your living room. The player avatars have some so far that they look almost human and their actions match. Down to the reflections off of the helmets and the folds in the player's uniforms, no detail has done unturned. It's a great game and fun to play, even for the inexperienced.

EA has used their Madden game each year to try and predict the outcome of the Super Bowl. Six out of the past seven Madden games have been correct in predicting the winner. While the scores don't always match up, sometimes their quite close. Perhaps you should give Madden a try before placing a bet on the Super Bowl.
