Folks,

Hope your Relay season is coming together well! Here's the latest
installation of ideas for Relay... Remember to always check with your
event committee and staff before applying an idea to make sure that
there are not local/state considerations that you must take into
account (for example - sales tax rules in your state):

* TOP DOWNLOADS ON ACSRELAY.ORG - Do you wonder what files other Relay
leaders are downloading, looking at, and using the most? Visit:

http://www.acsrelay.org/downloads.php

* BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT RELAY FOR LIFE - Attached is a link to the
National Relay For Life Speaking Points, which provides a nice overview
about Relay, and some good facts:

http://www.acsrelay.org/Manual/04-Speaking_Points.doc

Ask your staff person for the latest Relay For Life Speaking Points...
An updated version should be available soon or already!

* TEAM CAPTAIN COMMUNICATION - At this point, you are probably doing a
lot of talking to your team captains

Here is a great sample letter to send to your team captains and remind
them of key upcoming dates...

And you are having bank nights or starting to schedule/plan them.

* ENTERTAINMENT, ON-SITE ACTIVITIES & CEREMONIES - You are probably
contacting your possible entertainment (or already have them lined up).
Your teams are getting themselves together and might be looking for
team theme ideas, etc. You are starting to plan your ceremonies...
You can visit the following link for ideas for all of the above!:

Other things to keep in mind:

* TALKING ABOUT YOUR IDEAS AND ASKING YOUR QUESTIONS AT
HTTP://WWW.RELAYAMERICA.COM
- Relayamerica.com recently crossed 200 posts, and is a great place to
look at ideas shared by your fellow volunteers, ask your own questions
and share your ideas. This is a great on-line discussion site where
many great ideas have come from... Check it out!

* TALK TO US! - Please email moor...@aol.com with any specific ideas,
questions, or comments. If you have an idea you successfully reapplied
from acsrelay.org or relayamerica.com, we'd love to know!

If you have any feedback on this update, please let us know too.

There Is No Finish Line Until We Find A Cure!
