All,

Professor王莅文 will not be our session speaker due to her mother passed away.

We may have Mr. Charles Perng to replace the space.

Attached is汪詠萃’s.

Thanks!

Saya

Charles,

One speakers mother passed away, we now have one session speaker space open.

Could you please send us your abstract and bio?

Once I received it, I will forward to the ACS committee for approval.

Attached is the sample for your reference.

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm!

Dear all:

Do we have to have a keynote speaker for the closing ceremony? If it is too difficult to find one and normally we had small amount of people staying for the closing ceremony, perhaps we need to think other approaches/activities for the closing ceremony. Just my thought.

Tommy,

Tommy,

ACS BOD is OK not to have a closing keynote unless any of us has come up one.

Thanks!

Saya

Dear Tommy and all,

I am working on inviting 金夫人周慧婷 to be our closing key note.  If it is not successful, I will try to get one of the early 會長 to celebrate the 40th annual conference at the closing. Thanks.

Dear Bianca,

This is one of the idea.  Others includes doing it at dinner time.... II like to do it at the closing.... Yes, many cakes.

Hi Meng-sheng and all,

As you mentioned in your e-mail that it is the 40th birthday of ACS conference, I smell some cake!! I would suggest a fun filled festivity with or without a guest speaker at the closing. By doing so, this might boost the number of participants to stay for this celebration.

Just my 2 cents.

Hi, Meng-Sheng, Bianca, and all:

I think this is a good idea. We normally do not have a lot of people attending the closing ceremony and it would be a shame for any closing ceremony keynote speaker to notice this. I think celebrate ACS 40th anniversary at the closing ceremoney is an excellent idea. So there will be lots of cakes, I guess this might attract some people (at least for me! :)
