We have it on good authority that due to the customers not being made aware of with sufficient time to make changes, Charter is postponing the permanent shutdown of their charterinternet.com mailserver until July 30, 2010

If you have mail setup on that server you need to take steps before July 30th to create a new email address and notify all your contacts of the change.

If you have been contemplating getting your own domain, this would be a great time, and is fairly inexpensive (~$90/year)  Please contact us for more information on this, or clarification on the shutdown.

Charter will continue to sell bandwidth (internet connectivity) but will no longer be hosting email for businesses.

For more information go to www.charter-business.com  or call Charter at (800) 314-7195
