Across the Years 2008 open for registration

Registration is now open for the 2008 race, and will continue until
August 4, 2008. There is not rush to register as being first
is of no advantage.

There are some changes this years, so we urge you to read
the registration instruction page before jumping in.

Heh! You're right. They're in the registration form, of course, but
missing from the race information.

FYI, it's basically $320, $240, and $160 standard fee for the
72-hour, 48-hour, and 24-hour, which price includes the generous
goodie bag, with contents valued up to $150 (by some estimates,
as low as $120 by others). However, this year the goodie bag
is optional. Persons who opt out will save $80 on whatever
race they take, so it would be $240, $160, and $80 respectively.
But that means no shirt, jacket, bag, finisher awards, and
other stuff that comes in the bag. However, all participants
get gift items contributed by sponsors. E.g., Dirty Girl gaiters
are going to be given to everyone again this year, regardless
of whether they get the goodie bag.

Clear? Now I'd better scurry off and add some of that to the
race information page! Thanks for pointing out that failing.
