I've recently rediscovered my love of coding with the help of tools like copilot, and the project I've decided to focus on is another long-lost passion of mine. I have amazing memories of playing Acrophobia with my family so for Christmas this year I tried to recreate the magic with my version. Now it didn't quite work out because we're already half way through January, but I've had a few semi-successful test runs!

When I started, I had no idea there were so many other projects like acro challenge, acro fever, the acro game, etc. I'm so happy to have discovered this group and hope to start playing some games with you all!

With that said, I was wondering if any of you seasoned pros would be kind enough to help me out with my project? Just by playing a few test games and feeding back / reporting bugs (of which I already have a healthy list hah!) I'm not here to steal away the community from any established sites, but I'd love to know what you think of my little passion project. I've learned a lot making it, and my family have enjoyed reliving our old days of Acrophobia, so that's been the real success 😊

I don't think the 'official' game room is working at the mo but you can create your own room which works fine! I'm actively developing new features, I'm getting a bit carried away lol, so I might accidently break it sometimes!

I should add that so far I've been developing this as a mobile-first experience. It works on desktop but but I haven't focused on it in terms of layout.

Interestingly enough, in the mid 90s I learned how to develop websites with an Acro fan site to give acro lovers a place to enter acros off-site for one more chance to acro. Great learning lesson and so much fun with those of us seriously into acro at the time... from choosing what room to inhabit, to what team to join, to team challenges.... and *Hugo Boss* ads forever... lol... I am an OG... Bearette.
