FYI - This is always a fun and informative call, so I thought I’d share more broadly. Most months, the call focuses on a presentation topic, but this one is a guided text-based conversation.

———————————

Kick off the new year with your fellow OpenCon librarians!

It may be a brand-new year, but many of us are still navigating the same familiar challenges. Join us at the next OpenCon Librarian Community Call on January 13 at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT for a collaborative Etherpad discussion. We’ll share what we’re looking forward to in the months ahead—whether personally or professionally—and have space to vent about the things we aren’t excited about, too.

This informal session is a chance to connect, reflect, and help shape the year of OpenCon Librarian Community Calls. Come tell us what topics, formats, or conversations you’d like to see in 2025. We’re building this community together—your voice matters!

OpenCon Librarian Community Calls are limited to those working in libraries, and registration is required.

Date: Tuesday, January 13, 2026

Time: 12:00pm ET / 11:00am CT / 9:00am PT

Register now!
