Hello!

I am looking for some advice or ideas from fellow instruction librarians/academic libraries about Information Literacy Outcomes. We are currently revising our general university requirements, including those related to information literacy. Has anyone recently revised their info lit outcomes in the past 2-3 years, and if so are you willing to share those outcomes with us? Do you have any outcomes relating to AI?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Bridget,

My colleague, Amy Barlow, and I presented about our work on this at the joint ACRL-NEC/NELIG conference in 2023 and shared our slides (with lots of links) here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1B3hl-5DcW1scs5eAoPoQJH-o5vXAg7-pTPLMkAKTcUY/edit?usp=drive_link and more details here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xlOL5ohaOpbrMa9sheqEbhd2c8Gr4P4p?usp=drive_link

Currently our gen ed program is continuing to be refined and the new learning outcome is currently Information & Digital Literacy. A working group, consisting of myself and three other faculty members across the college, are working on honing the definition and how it will be assessed across the curriculum.

I'd be happy to chat further!
