Dear Colleagues,
Registration for the 2026
Northeast Science Camp for Librarians (formerly the New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians) is now open! This year's conference will be held on
June 8-10, 2026 at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. Science Camp is an engaging and affordable 2½ day immersion into science topics offering opportunities for librarians and library students interested in science, health sciences, and technology to learn, meet, and network in a fun, laid-back atmosphere. You can find more information
here.
The topics for this year's conference sessions are indigenous knowledge in life sciences, social work for wellness, and particle and theoretical physics. Each topical session will include one researcher presenting an overview of the field, followed by a second researcher discussing their own research within the field. This year’s Capstone is
Librarian Publishing: Publishing in the Discipline, Research Impact, and Writing.
Library workers, faculty, library students and anyone interested in learning more about science, health sciences, and technology are encouraged to attend this conference! While this conference is focused on fostering science librarian networking in the Northeast, we welcome interested attendees from anywhere. Please share this opportunity with your colleagues.
Registration is open until Friday, May 22, 2026, at 5 pm ET.
