This year, we’re inviting applicants to apply for in‑person scholarships during the Call for Proposals. If you are submitting a proposal, please submit your scholarship application at the same time.
We are offering twelve scholarships to cover the cost of registration for the 2026 Northwest Interlibrary Loan & Resource Sharing Conference. These scholarships are intended to support ILL practitioners who may face financial barriers to participating, whether virtually or in person.
4 in-person scholarships — Cover registration fees plus a travel stipend of $500–$1,000 USD (based on distance). Deadline: May 15, 2026.
Registration is covered for conference presenters, but applications for this scholarship are being accepted during the call for proposals period this year for those who lack travel funds to present in person. If submitting a proposal, please submit your scholarship application alongside your proposal whenever possible.
8 virtual scholarships — Cover the cost of virtual registration. Deadline: July 15, 2026.
Additionally, two types of waivers will be available once registration opens:
Tribal/Indigenous/First Nations— Staff working for a Tribal, Indigenous, or First Nations library or organization may request a complimentary virtual registration. Attendees are also welcome to attend in-person at the posted rate or through requesting a scholarship.
International attendees — Individuals attending virtually from countries where the USD conversion makes registration cost-prohibitive are welcome to request a waiver. International attendees are also welcome to attend in-person at the posted rate or through requesting a scholarship
The deadline to request a waiver is August 24, 2026. Please note that NWILL reserves the right to close waiver requests early or deny requests if applicant status cannot be confirmed.
