NELA Support for Academic Librarians and Library Staff: Free Membership Initiative

As we all know, it has been a deeply challenging time for many in higher education. We have seen firsthand how funding cuts and staff reductions have impacted academic libraries and the dedicated professionals who run them across New England. We want you to know that the New England Library Association stands in solidarity with you. We want to make sure our academic colleagues know they still have a professional home and a network of support.
Last year, the New England Library Association (NELA) Executive Board voted to offer a free one-year NELA membership to any academic librarian or library professional who has lost their job due to these cuts.
