Save the Date: Science Boot Camp 6/25-6/27, Bowdoin

Dear Colleagues, 

We are excited to announce this year’s New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians will be held on June 25-27, 2025 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Science Boot Camp is a fun and affordable 2 ½ day immersion into science topics offering opportunities for library workers and library students interested in science, health sciences, and technology to learn, meet and network in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.

The topics for this year's SBC science sessions are:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Astronomy
• Health Sciences 

Each science session will include one scientist presenting an overview of the field, and a second scientist discussing research applications within the field. This year's Capstone will feature AI in science librarianship.
