Call for CJCLS Awards Nominations

Do you know an amazing community college library leader or unique library program? The Community and Junior College Libraries Section (CJCLS) of the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) is now accepting nominations for awards!

• Community College Library Leadership Award
  • Individuals who are current ACRL/CJCLS members are eligible to receive the award. 
  • This award recognizes significant achievement in community college library leadership. Criteria can include leadership if a successful program, scholarly contributions, lifetime achievement, and more. 
• Community College Library Program Award
  • Individuals or groups from two-year institutions, as well as the two-year institutions themselves, are eligible to receive the award (CJCLS membership not required). 
  • This award recognizes achievement in outreach or academic programs. Criteria can include innovation, initiatives at the local, state, or national level, collaboration with college departments, and more.  

Submissions must be received by December 5, 2025.  Self-nominations are welcome! Please submit your applications at the new ACRL Awards Portal.
