We have exciting updates from the ACRL-NEC’s Scholarship & Awards Committee for the upcoming year!

We’re Back!:

After a brief hiatus, the Scholarship & Awards Committee has returned. We look forward to once again recognizing and awarding the wonderful work our fellow library professionals are doing across their institutions. The committee’s return reflects our continued commitment to celebrating excellence, supporting professional development, and highlighting innovative contributions within our community.

We've updated the Christine Drew Scholarship. ACRL-NEC will award up to up to two, $1,000 scholarships annually. These scholarships can be used by current ACRL-NEC members to attend either the ACRL Immersion Program or to pursue Continuing Education programs that offer library instruction training. The scholarship can be applied toward the registration, travel, and lodging costs of Immersion or instruction-focused Continuing Education programs. Additionally, the award recipient will receive free registration and up to $225 toward travel and/or lodging to attend the next ACRL-NEC Annual Conference.
