Hi all, and with apologies for cross-posting,

The Carpentries is an organization that teaches foundational coding and data science skills to researchers worldwide, and we are launching a new Northeast Carpentries Community! We’re hosting a Meet & Greet February 6th from 1-2pm to launch the community. Everyone is welcome, and this will be an informal event to talk about what this community can achieve. Below is an agenda for this event and more information and registration can be found here.
  • Regional Round-Robin: A quick "who’s who" from those joining.
  • Workshop Wins & Woes: A low-pressure space to share what’s working (and what isn’t) in your recent teaching sessions.
  • Resource Exchange: Let's talk about how we can collaborate and share resources in this community.
  • Open Discussion: Have a question about something we didn't talk about? Let's talk about it.
  • How to Connect: Next steps and how to become a member of the Northeast Carpentries Community.

If you have any questions, let me know. I look forward to meeting and talking with community members about how to amplify the impact of data science education across the region.

Take care,

Allie
