My bad - this typo has been corrected, but I accidentally repeated it.
Conference proposals are due Friday, April 17th!

Joint ACRL-NEC & NELIG Conference: June 11th (virtual) AND June 15th (College of Holy Cross), 2026

We welcome proposals that acknowledge ... While creativity and inspiration abound, people are also contending with and navigating unprecedented turmoil at a rate and pace that literally leaves one breathless. While the demands soar and the resources often plummet, there is still cause to pause, and to exhale.

Academic librarians and library professionals make a lasting impact on their institutions and communities. As library professionals poised to adapt, we proceed as keepers of the most democratic thing in the world: intellectual freedom. We invite session proposals that reflect the resilience, creativity, and forward-thinking allowing libraries to thrive.

Proposal due date: Friday, April 17th, 2026, 11:59pm EST

We look forward to receiving your proposals, and we look forward to seeing you in June!

Jason Cerrato, NELIG Co-Chair
