The University Libraries of the University of Massachusetts Amherst seek a Head of Metadata to lead a newly established Metadata Department. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Content & Discovery, this key role provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction and embodies the Libraries' commitment to ensuring that metadata work is visible, valued, and supported.

 With a growing team, deep connection to the Five College Consortium, and active engagement in the FOLIO community, the department is well positioned for meaningful impact.
