It's only natural to reflect on such a long journey with such an incredible team. I remember my first day at DIRECTV like it was yesterday. I recall the pride of knowing I was going to be part of a leading entertainment brand, working with smart and talented people, growing a business, and ultimately changing an industry.

The last handful of years have been nothing short of amazing. Leading the team at Otter Media from an investment portfolio into an operating company, integrating into the IP-rich world of WarnerMedia, standing up HBO Max, growing revenue in a declining marketplace, leading thousands of talented individuals through a pandemic, navigating meaningful social justice events, scaling as an operator, strategist and leader, trying to give back, and finding my own support system. It has been more challenging and more rewarding than I could ever have imagined. Truly formative years.

My colleagues, this WarnerMedia management team, successfully reinvented our company, working in the trenches alongside our tireless, dedicated, and passionate team members and colleagues. With all eyes on us, the team transformed a successful traditional media company from a wholesaler to retailer in just two short years! We made difficult choices that were anchored on the consumer and the future. Our team built a company for the future, delivering the highest revenue year in its long history while leading the great pivot. We did this. Together.

My friends, thank you for the journey. Thank you for the support and partnership. Thank you for testing me, stretching me, and teaching me. I am incredibly humbled that you allowed me to ride shotgun on this adventure with you. I will find my next platform and I look forward to seeing you find yours.

Much of the area was formed by ancient lava flows. The landscape is dotted with buttes and rock outcroppings. Passing over the Deschutes river, centuries of erosion make for dramatic views of the river valley. (The Deschutes was French for river of the Falls, in reference to the Falls that once existed where the Deschutes flows into the Columbia River.)

A little more than midway through the ride, we had the option to detour for a few bonus miles to Smith Rock State Park. Smith Rock is a sports climbing mecca. The top of Smith Rock is more than 600 feet above the Crooked River, which flows through the park and shaped the dramatic scenery.

The last 20 miles of the ride were through more farm and ranch land. More local traffic, but still relatively peaceful. Prineville has a population of around 1000. It has become a haven for server farms for the likes of Amazon and Facebook.

Magic Ride 159: Longer than the other sizes, it is stable and accessible and thus the perfect board for anyone stepping down from a beginner board with daggerboard. It is specially tuned for easy, early planing! Experiencing the planing sensation and getting hooked on the feeling happens naturally.

GLIDE WIND is our friendly, easy-cruising and carving foil, also suitable for wave riding and basic freestyle moves. Ever dreamed about foiling but felt that it might be too dangerous or difficult? GLIDE WIND is the perfect tool to get you into foiling.

The lowest possible speed is required for take-off allowing first-time foilers to feel safe and comfortable. This all-round foil focuses on extreme stability and early flying. It is designed with round edges on the wings for safety and has been engineered to prevent catapults and to allow soft landings.

The most performant foil for small(freeride) windsurf and especially wing boards: its high aspect wings provide little drag and resistance resulting in great performance. Its speed provides the ideal power for high jumps. It is easy to control and offers a easy take-off. The term describing it best is efficiency!
In winging, its placements at the top GWA events demonstrate that it match the most specialized foils out there but it is much easier to use. It not only impresses in racing, but also earns points in pump sections, waves, and freestyle.
In windsurfing, the Glide Swift won Yentel Caers the first ever foil-style competition on the FPT tour.

At our one hour hold at camp all the horses again vetted well and we got them settled in with their mashes and hay and helped ourselves the the lunch provided by management (this was an ALL frills ride!) ala Duck ride style; premade sandwiches in coolers, tubs of candy and drinks. To me it is such a luxury to be provided lunch at a ride so I can grab and eat and have the time to care for my horse and even sit a bit. My boots were all looking good at lunch and I had totally relaxed about them at that point and quit obsessively checking to make sure they were still there.

We headed out for our last loop refreshed on on horses that were looking great. I think we moved out the fastest on this loop. Lots of trotting on wonderful, redwood carpeted single track and even a gallop up a steep hill! Lots of fun and my boots stayed put! Soon we were back at camp and our magical ride was completed.

I really had a great ride and my horse felt really good. He has been barefoot since Dec. 21st of last year and he has really thrived. Our friend Kirsten is a chiropractor for humans and horses. She has treated Eagle in the past and treated the horses the evening after the ride and the next morning. She pulled me aside to tell me that when she had initially treated Eagle a year or so ago she really thought he was arthritic or had some degenerative joint stuff going on but now she finds that his joints feel like the joints of a young horse! I think this is really significant and the only thing that has changed with this horse is that he has gone barefoot and uses boots when he needs them.

After the horses were all cared for we took a bottle of wine and headed over to the amazing catered dinner and awards ceremony in the barn. The dinner included tamales, pork, chicken, a rice dish and yummy chocolate ganache cake for dessert. It was all very good and spicy! An award was given out for the first booted horse which I thought was really nice and a bottle of wine to the last 10 riders which I thought was really cool. The completion awards were nice ball caps with the ride logo on them.

The Saddleback baseball team defeated San Joaquin Delta College, 8-5, on Monday at Mt. San Antonio College to win the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) state baseball championship. It was the second state title in program history.

Saddleback completed a magical ride on Monday, winning a third straight game in the tournament to claim the championship trophy. It was the 10th win in the playoffs in 12 tries as the Bobcats won nine of their final 10 games down the stretch.

Saddleback had a decisive advantage heading into Monday's matchup, having won two straight games, and therefore having to play one less game in the tournament than their opponent, San Joaquin Delta. It was a reversal of fortune from a year earlier when the Bobcats limped into the final day of the season before getting beaten soundly on championship Monday by Santa Ana College.

San Joaquin Delta, however, wasn't interested in going down quietly and made the Bobcats work. Delta led 2-1 heading into the top half of the fifth inning when the momentum changed. The Mustangs appeared to hit a wall to start the fifth inning as Ben Castelli led off the inning with a single and the next three batters were hit by pitches to tie the game at 2-2. Things went from bad to worse for San Joaquin Delta when Rodrigo Barajas greeted a new pitcher on the mound with a single to drive home both Makani Tanaka and J.C. Allen. Matthew Deutsch then followed with a sacrifice fly to bring home Jacob Beauchaine for a 5-2 advantage. The Mustangs then walked James Derflinger before hitting a fourth batter in the inning in Castelli, which brought home Barajas with the fifth run of the inning. The five runs seemed to deflate a Delta squad that appeared to be running on fumes.

Saddleback tacked on two insurance runs in the top half of the seventh inning when Allen turned on a ball and drove it over the left field fence for an 8-2 lead. It was Allen's 13th homer of the season and gave the Bobcat faithful some breathing room.

San Joaquin Delta made one more charge, scoring three runs in the bottom half of the eighth inning to make things interesting. The Bobcats then went to Dylan Blakey in the bottom of the ninth inning, and Blakey closed the door with a pair of strikeouts and a harmless ground ball to shortstop to end the game (video below).

Saddleback started Kamden Cisneros on the mound, and he gave way to Ryan Seymour in the third inning. Seymour (3-0) pitched through the sixth inning in picking up the win in the decisive game. Saddleback then went to Zachary Allegro, who pitched the Bobcats through the eighth inning. Blakey picked up his third save of the season by closing the door in the ninth.

Saddleback connected for 11 hits on the day, with Tanaka, Allen, Barajas and Derflinger all generating two hits in the game. Takana scored three runs on the afternoon and finished with seven runs-scored for the tournament. Castelli finished the tournament 7-for-15, and as a result was named the tournament MVP.

Saddleback's state title was the first for the baseball program since winning the title in 2004. Much like the 2024 finish, the 2004 run was a redemption tour as Saddleback defeated Cypress College in the state title game after losing to the Chargers in the championship a year earlier.
