The NC Forest Service is recruiting for its Longleaf Program Coordinator position, listed as an Environmental Specialist in the NC Department of Agriculture at http://www.ncagr.gov/hr/jobs.htm.  The position closes next Tuesday, 7/12/16 @ 10:19 AM Eastern Time. 

 

This position was most recently held by Anna Stout, and before that, by Kim Shumate Livingston.  This is a time-limited position supported by USFS grant funds through 9/30/2017 with a one-year extension very likely.  The opportunity exists for continued funding by obtaining new grant awards.  We are looking for a creative, energetic individual with an interest in working through collaborative partnerships to promote longleaf pine restoration and management, primarily on private, family-owned lands in NC.  More detail can be found in the job posting.
