consultation needed for streambank stabilization/stream restoration in Jones Cove

Hello, folks,

I hope you’re all doing well. A friend of mine who lives up Jones Cove (one cove over from Shope Creek, if you’re familiar), when asked what they needed help with, said that he and a group of neighbors want to do some streambank stabilization/stream restoration along a whole section of the creek up there that was blown out in the storm. That watershed was hit hard by flooding and some extreme wind (including tornadoes, depending on who you ask). They’re hoping someone with expertise in that might be willing to donate an hour or two of their time to meet with the community and at least give them an overview of what such a project might entail so they’ll know where to get started. If you or someone you know have that expertise and might be willing to help, please let me know and I will connect you.
