NCEE Certification Program

Hi all!

Long time no talk! I am wondering if anyone out there has completed the NC Environmental Education Certification Program.

If so, did you like it? Did you find it helpful? Do employers actually care if you have this?

In my position with Trout Unlimited as Youth Education Coordinator, I think it will be worthwhile to delve into the methodology of EE and am debating on how to do so. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

Yup, I did it while I was in AmeriCorps.  It is has been super helpful for me.  I definitely recommend it, especially if you want to stay in the field of EE.  I have found employers have liked it even in jobs outside of NC, but I do EE for a living.  Someone outside the field might not be that interested in it though.
