I have ripped some mp3 tracks from CD. If I try to calculate the duration and fingerprint with "fpcalc.exe", I get this two error lines per track:
[mp3 @ 0xbfc7e0] Cannot read BOM value, input too short
[mp3 @ 0xbfc7e0] Error reading frame Acoustid Duration, skipped

After this red lines, fpcalc.exe returns the (good looking) values for
FILE=
DURATION=
FINGERPRINT=
as expected.

Can I savely ignore this specific red error lines?

BTW:
The source for this error text seems to be here: http://ffmpeg.org/doxygen/2.0/id3v2_8c_source.html

Yes, the warnings are from FFmpeg. I tried to silence them, but it's not always possible. You can ignore them.
