Song Fragment Lookup

Hello

I able to use the api to lookup complete tracks, however when i try to lookup a 30 seconds fragment of a song I receive 0 results.

Is it possible to perform song fragment lookups, if so how? If not, is it possible to download the entire database and modify the database for song fragment lookup?

Finally, how up to date is the fingerprint catalog? Is the catalog active and updated with new releases?
