Tune in tonight at 8PM to Some Good Craic. It's a fantastic online radio show full of Celtic Rock! Log on early, so you can register (it's free) and join in the chat room. I'd say it's just like a pub without the beer, but everyone in the chat room are usually drunk by the time the show comes on. Tonight's show is all about The Gobshites! Mike will be playing songs from our CDs as well as rough demos for our next CD. Trust me, this is a rare thing! It's hard for me to even let the band hear my songs before they're done!
 
Some of you know I was in a pUnK RoCk band called MEAT DEPRESSED. We released our first CD, Pleased To Meat You in 1998. I had written some of the songs for that CD with The Gobshites in mind, but when my buddy Vic (who I was in an early version of MD with in 1989) moved back to the area, Ramones inspired punk became my calling once again. We put a leather jacket, ripped jeans and some chuck taylors on those songs, but if you listen to the CD, I'm sure you'll be able to tell which songs I'm talking about. The Gobshites are going to re-record those songs for our new CD, The Whistle Before The Snap. Mike is going to play the MD versions tonight!
 
I'm going to call into the show to talk about the new CD. We will also be joined by RICHIE RAMONE of the RAMONES who will be playing drums on our new CD!
Why all the fuss? Well, our
