Hey guys, I bought a full serato Dj pro software. I am only using 1 controller right now. I was wondering if a club controller would work with my version or is there some sort of paywall for different controllers? (The club i want to play at doesn't use cdj) so can I just plug and play anywhere?
A local club has an open deck night and I'd like to get proficient enough to spin there on occasion. With an eye toward transitioning from a controller at home to USB CDJs at the club, which is a better option Serato or Rekordbox?
It seems off balance that serato should want such fees when the serato implantation of using primes like midi controllers is so poorly executed when compared to the virtual DJ way of using primes as midi controllers
I mostly do short sets (mostly 1-2hrs) and I use USB sticks. I would like to use serato for longer sets (4+ hrs) of open format since this requires going through more tracks and a huge laptop screen feels more right for this.
While kids chowed down on their meals at the club on the Golden West College campus, a few board members gave brief speeches, including Huntington Beach police Chief Robert Handy, who thanked Serato for his service.
Supported mixers are the Pioneer DJM850, 900NXS, Rane MP2015 rotary mixer as well as the Allen & Heath DB2 / DB4 and 43C. The Serato DJ Club Kit is perfect for these users who want a simple plug-and-play solution in the club.
