The 2 RU four channel D20 amplifier is ideally suited to mobile and installation applications which require low to medium Sound Pressure Level (SPL) capabilities. The D20 features the same Digital Signal Processing (DSP) platform as the latest generation of d&b amplifiers, containing configurations for all d&b loudspeakers except the J-Series and the M2 monitor, plus a linear mode. The signal delay capability enables user definable settings of up to 10 s (= 3440 m/11286 ft), which can be applied independently to each channel. The same applies to the two 16-band equalizers, providing optional parametric, asymmetric, shelving or notch filtering. The D20 incorporates a colour TFT touchscreen, offering quick access to the menu structure, while the rotary encoder can be used for fine adjustment. The front panel and the integrated touchscreen are tilted up for easy operation when the amplifier is below eye level. The equal ratio of signal input to amplifier output channels increases application flexibility particularly for monitor, frontfill or effect channel use. The LoadMatch function integrated within the D20 amplifier electrically compensates for the properties of loudspeaker cable used. The D20 incorporates Class D amplifiers utilizing a power supply with active Power Factor Correction (PFC) suitable for mains voltages 100 V - 240 V, 50 - 60 Hz and maintains a stable output when used with weak or unstable mains supplies. An NL8 provides all outputs on a single connector for loudspeaker multicores. Dual channel mode is driven through four individual NL4 connectors, while Mix TOP/SUB and 2-Way Active mode output configurations for applicable d&b loudspeakers are available via two central NL4 connectors. etherCON and RJ 45 connectors enable access to the d&b Remote network through OCA/AES70 via Ethernet and through CAN-Bus respectively.
All internal audio and remote connections are fully prewired. A loom comprising two AES3 cables and one CAT5/etherCON2 is supplied, providing patch cabling for a network connection and four AES3 channels. The D20 Touring rack assembly is provided with either a DS10 Audio network bridge, which comes supplied with all necessary cabling, or a 1 RU drawer.
The DS10 Audio network bridge interfaces between Dante networks and AES3 digital audio signals, while also providing distribution of Ethernet control data. The DS10 can deliver up to sixteen Dante network channels via AES3 digital signal outputs, and is intended to integrate directly into a D20 Touring rack assembly. The front panel of the DS10 is designed to align with the input panel of the D20 Touring rack assembly. The DS10 can be powered by one of the auxiliary mains outputs. All necessary patch cabling and links are supplied with a D20 Touring rack assembly including a DS10.

The D80 incorporates Class D amplifiers utilizing a power supply with active Power Factor Correction (PFC) suitable for mains voltages 100 V/120 V/200 V/230 V, 50 - 60 Hz and maintains a stable output when used with weak or unstable mains supplies. The D80 amplifier outputs are NL4 connectors plus one centered NL8 connector with all pins driven. RJ 45 and etherCON connectors enable access to the d&b Remote network via CAN-Bus and OCA/AES70 via Ethernet respectively. The 6 x D80 Touring rack is available with either a single 32 A CEE mains power distribution panel, or a dual 30 A NEMA mains power distribution panel. Electrically interlocked auxiliary mains outputs (powerCON1 16 A sockets) are provided to power the DS10 and other low current devices such as laptops. The 2 RU loudspeaker connector panel of the 6 x D80 Touring rack assembly provides six NL8 (4 channel) and two LKA25 (12 channel) loudspeaker outputs. This loudspeaker connector panel is also equipped with a Power over Ethernet (POE) socket to connect and power an inclinometer.
I've used a few audio interfaces over the years many for my small bedroom studio. This one is by far the best, also access to UAD plugins has really upgraded my sound. Small box but it packs a punch! Definitely worth it, also easy to take around with you.
To support higher-resolution display devices, the DVI specification contains a provision for dual link. Dual link DVI doubles the number of TMDS data pairs, effectively doubling the video bandwidth, which allows higher resolutions up to 2560 1600 at 60 Hz or higher refresh rates for lower resolutions.
DVI provide one TMDS clock pair and 3 TMDS data pairs in single link mode or 6 TMDS data pairs in dual link mode. TMDS data pairs operate at a gross bit rate that is 10 times the frequency of the TMDS clock. In each TMDS clock period there is a 10-bit symbol per TMDS data pair representing 8-bits of pixel color. In single link mode each set of three 10-bit symbols represents one 24-bit pixel, while in dual link mode each set of six 10-bit symbols either represents two 24-bit pixels or one pixel of up to 48-bit color depth.
HDMI is a newer digital audio/video interface developed and promoted by the consumer electronics industry. DVI and HDMI have the same electrical specifications for their TMDS and VESA/DDC twisted pairs. However HDMI and DVI differ in several key ways.
Some DVI-D sources use non-standard extensions to output HDMI signals including audio (e.g. ATI 3000-series and NVIDIA GTX 200-series).[17] Some multimedia displays use a DVI to HDMI adapter to input the HDMI signal with audio. Exact capabilities vary by video card specifications.
In the reverse scenario, a DVI display that lacks optional support for HDCP might be unable to display protected content even though it is otherwise compatible with the HDMI source. Features specific to HDMI such as remote control, audio transport, xvYCC and deep color are not usable in devices that support only DVI signals. HDCP compatibility between source and destination devices is subject to manufacturer specifications for each device.
