Coaches,
PLEASE REGISTER TEAMS ASAP!!!
As you know the ICPC GNY Regional will be an all online event this year. We have attempted to make this contest as easy as possible for all contestants and coaches.
Please tell your students to fully fill out all mandatory fields on their ICPC profile. Many contestants have not done this and it is impossible to determine eligibility without it.
The practice contest is up and running. Once you receive your credentials please log in and familiarize yourself with the new web interface.
If you have any questions or comments after you have signed into the contest server you can send a clarification. Clarifications will be checked once daily during the practice contest.
Please see the bullet points below for a quick rundown.
Date: Sunday March 7th
Registration: http://icpc.global
Contest: Link will be emailed with login/pswd information once teams have registered and approved.
Practice Problem set: http://acmgnyr.org/year2019/problems.shtml - we are using last year’s problem set and practice problems for this practice contest.
Advancement: This year 10 teams will advance from the GNY region (up to 2 teams per school).
Rule Changes:
Teams will be allowed to use their own personal computers (1 per contestant, 3 per team).
Each contestant will log into the contest server separately.
Contestants can use any development environment they are comfortable with and are not required to install the contest image but can if they so choose. While we will try to answer questions about the contest environment, please be aware that we did not create the image below and may not be able to address issues you may have (specifically, but not limited to graphics and network issues) - caveat emptor.
Only use of standard libraries will be allowed.
