I am happy to announce the ICPC Greater New York regional contest will be held on Sunday, Feb 26 2023 at Sacred Heart University

Dr. Samah Senbel has volunteered to serve as the Site Director.

Advancement: We have been told that 4 teams from the Greater New York Region will be guaranteed advancement to a North America Championship (NAC).

T-SHIRTS:

Please make sure to fill out the correct sizes for yourself and your team.  Shirts must be ordered weeks in advance.

DETAILS

COST:

The team fee structure to be the same as last year $175 each team (including one coach per school), plus $50 per guest.

TEAM ADVANCEMENT:

Top teams will advance to the North America Championship (NAC) Contest.

The NAC will have a “world finals” look and feel complete with excursions and activities for the teams that advance.

The Greater New York region will advance four (4) teams to the NAC.  Each team advancing to the NAC must be from a unique school. The teams advancing to the NAC will compete against the winners from the 10 other regions in North America for slots to advance to the ICPC World Finals in Moscow next year in June.  Schools will be responsible for transportation of teams to the event.  All accommodations, meals and events at the NAC will be paid for by ICPC and its sponsors.

The official NAC announcement with complete details and rules will be coming in the next few weeks.

If anyone has any ideas or leads for corporate sponsorships, please contact me.  Any sponsorship contributions will be used to offset the team fees and/or make improvements to the contest.

Hi All,

Another friendly reminder to register your teams ASAP.  We get 4 unique slots to the NAC this year in Orlando Florida in May (should be good weather).

I will need to order the food so we need an accurate count!  Links below.

For those of you who have registered teams please make sure to log in to the practice contest going on now.  Priority is given to those students who have completed this requirement on the day of the contest if any technical issues should arise.
