Hey guys,

I found myself re-reading the ACME paper by Rob Pike and the subfolder "/acme/edit" was mentioned. It's supposed to have tools for executing global substitution actions and such. Considering that this introductory paper is relatively old, could it be that the was relocated somewhere else ?

Here are a few examples from the paper:

e file | x '/regexp/' | c 'replacement'
e file:'0,$' | x '/.*word.*\n/' | p −n
e file | pipe command args ...

Thanks

The edit tools were deprecated when the sam edit language
was spliced into acme. It's much more convenient, trust me!
(although the edit tools did have a certain elegance to them).
