Hi all,
I'm changing the name of the thread to something lighter! :) Anyway,
the Oglesby Union Art Center is next to Crenshaw Lanes on the "New
Classroom Building" side of the Union. I think we can just come in at
any time the Art Center is open to do this. On the Art Center's front
page, I see an advertisement for 10% off paint-a-pot on Thursday and
Friday after 5pm, although that isn't a lot, since most unpainted
ceramics are between $7-$15.
We should really do this!! :) What night sounds good? If we decide
to do it next week (or Friday at the earliest), I can have time to put
up some fliers advertising our little get-together...

Although I opted for Paint a pot tonight, I'm a little stuck debugging some stuff, so there is a chance I may not make it. But I'm trying to get it done soon!

Shalini, I hope you make it! I need another "artistically-challenged"
person there so I don't feel so bad about my upcoming creation! :) I

Also, what did you guys discuss at the meeting? I was unable to make it because of a project.

Paint-a-pot was so cool. We've got shiny, pretty, glossy pots to show
for our time there! I'd definitely do it again, given another chance.

Hey Shalini,
Paint-a-pot was fun! You should the mug that I painted sometime. :)
They have a ton of different things to paint, like plates, glasses,
mugs, pots, holiday figures, robots, and (haha) the $2 cell phone. I
really want to do this again.
I forgot to mention, but I've been posting minutes on the acmw website
now. The website is fully functional, and links actually go
somewhere.
I talked to Caitlin, and I'm about to call Thursday's mini-meeting at
Starbucks on campus at 1:00pm.

Hey Sarah! I have a lecture from 12:30 to 1:45 on thursday! so I won't be able to join for coffee!
If you guys plan to make it a bit late.. may be around 4 or 5. I will join! and i think that would be a better time for a hot cup of coffee!!!
