Hi everyone,

The end-of-semester game night is on for Friday, December 4th from
5:00-8:00pm in LOV 101. ACM mostly set this up, but they could use
our help in bringing some fun board games. (I can bring Risk!) I
also quickly made the fliers for the event and posted them around the
Love building today.

The ACM treasurer presented us (me) with a check of our money made out
to "ACM-Women". It's a shame they didn't want to just give us cash,
but this opportunity can encourage us to hurry up and open a bank
account. I watched ACM pretty closely through the process, and they
opened an account up at SunTrust. To open an account, we need:

* A copy of meeting minutes with officer names
* A tax ID (we can get this logging into our account on acm.org)
* Our faculty advisor present (Dr. Baker)
* People present that we are putting on the account

Perhaps this is something we can get going early next semester. It
will mostly depend on Dr. Baker's availability. I can hand the check
over to the treasurer or whoever else wants to hold onto it.

Alejandro, how are things going with the mentorship stuff?

Hey Sarah!

Game night is surely gonna be a fun. I am looking forward for it.

I agree with you to open a bank account as soon as we can. And as you are already familiar with the process it will be good. Try to fix time with prof. Baker, and I'll be there.

Hey,

Are we having a mini-meeting today? I've got so much to do today that
I was planning on working at home to concentrate better...

Oy, it's the last sprint of projects. I've been just as busy, trying
to keep up with sleep and with work! I believe we should pass up on
the mini-meeting today. Since the ACM night is tomorrow, perhaps we
can talk about on-goings there?

Also, when I see you next, Sarah, I'll go ahead and give you the email
list for the mentorship volunteers. I've been swamped with end of
semester wrap-up, so I've been unable to dedicate time to the
mentorship initiative.

Hey guys,

I'm coming down sick with something, so I won't be at tonight's game
night. I hope everyone has a good time!

Sarah,

Will miss having you there. I'm going to get on the ball soon with e-mailing about a get-together for CS women.  I found a way to get a list of students @ FSU, but it's all in HTML, so the only way I've figured out to "parse" the list for Computer Science majors has been to individually search for "Computer Science" amongst the list.

Hope you get to feeling better,
Emily
