Dear colleagues,

The Department for IT Education Development of MIPT invites student teams from your university to participate in the Moscow Pre-Finals Workshop, which will be held in an online format on April 17 — 23, 2021. The program includes the RuCode Festival, which will take place on April 25.

The Workshop is organized by MIPT with the support of ITMO University.

The main goal of the Moscow Pre-Finals Workshop is to coach student teams for successful participation in competitive programming competitions and ICPC stages (from regional contests to World Finals)!

The official language is English.

The Workshop will be held in accordance with the two divisions scheme: 

  • Division A is designed to prepare students to participate and win medals in the next ICPC World Finals. 
  • Division B is designed to help teams prepare for regional and international competitions.

The Head of the programming committee is Mikhail Tikhomirov, the coach of gold medalists ICPC 2016 and 2018, silver medalists 2017 and bronze 2019. The main moderator of the contests is Oleg Khristenko, the Chief Judge of Moscow Workshops ICPC and Editor-in-Chief of Snarknews.

The educational program includes:

  • 6 five-hour contests;
  • Access to upsolving the contests within six months after the beginning of the Workshop;
  • Access to the stream, video recording, and materials of the contest analysis;
  • Access to the stream, video recording, and materials of the lectures (for div.B);
  • Electronic certificate of participation for the team.

In the spring of 2020, students from 28 countries took part in the Moscow Pre-finals Workshop 2020 in an online format. Many teams that participated in the Moscow Workshop programs in different years became participants and prize-winners of ICPC World Finals. Just to name a few, 11 out of 12 prize-winning teams of ICPC World Finals 2019 participated in Moscow Workshops ICPC.

To participate in the Workshop it is necessary to fill in the registration form. Our team and Moscow Workshops coaches will make every effort to provide participants with full support and comfortable training.
